Kubota Ships 10,000th M7000 Series Tractor
Last month, Kubota shipped out the 10,000th M7000 Series tractor from its production facility in France. With a maximum of 170 horsepower (126 kilowatts) and access to a wide selection of Kubota attachments, Kubota’s M7000 Series tractors adapt to all kinds of large-scale agriculture applications. Kubota says it developed the M7000 Series to meet the needs of arable and row crop farms in Europe and North America, and says Europe is the series’ largest market. The series is also popular in Australia, Japan, and the United States.
Kubota’s M7003
Model numbers vary by country and region; in the UK, the M7000 Series is on its third generation, as indicated by their M7003 series name. You’ll find M7003 tractors for sale in Standard (30F/15R transmission), Premium (54F/27R transmission), and Premium KVT (Kubota Variable Transmission) trim levels. All M7003 Series tractors feature Kubota’s V6108 Stage V engine, which generates 170 HP and 711 newton-metres (524 pounds-foot) of torque on the flagship M7173.
Precision Control
Kubota M7003 tractors include the company’s Tractor Implement Management (TIM) technology, which enables bilateral communication between tractors and implements. The TIM system lets the implement automatically control certain tractor functions, increasing precision and simplifying repetitive jobs like the baling process. Operators can also control the tractor through Kubota’s K-Monitor, an all-in-one terminal featuring a Swap Valve function to synchronize the fingertip and joystick controls with the tractor’s color-coded rear valves. Other enhancements on the M7003 tractors include a full-LED light option, electronically adjustable rear-view mirrors, and hydraulic power steering with multispeed steering control.
