The Winton 225kg Weight Box is a great bit of kit for enhancing safety and stability for compact tractors. It is ideal for smallholdings, groundwork projects and equestrian centres. The WWB225 can be filled with materials such as sand or concrete in order to adjust the weight to perfectly balance the tractor. The addition of a front loader, for example, can change the centre of gravity. This increases the front axle load and reduces the tractor’s stability. Adding a weight box prevents the tractor from tipping or bouncing by adding downward force to the back of the tractor. The reduced pressure on the front axle decreases wear and tear on the tractor’s tyres, rims and axles. This means that the tractor requires fewer repairs, saving a lot of money. The increased stability also improves the safety of the driver, as well as anyone in the close vicinity of the tractor.
